The New England Golden Gloves are held every January and February at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, to benefit the Lowell Sun Charities. The Lowell Sun Charities is a nonprofit organization, whose mission is to enrich the quality of life for children, families, and the community by offering programs that promote respect and dignity. Rooted in a tradition of care and compassion, the Lowell Sun Charities Organization was established in 1947 to respond to the ever-increasing challenges of the community. 2026 marks the 79th year the Golden Gloves have been held in the great city of Lowell, Massachusetts. Proceeds from the Golden Gloves go directly to Lowell area charities in need.
